Instant breakfast recipe

Ingredients

1 cup rava

1/2 cup grated coconut

1/2 TSP baking soda

3 tbsp curd

1 cup water

Salt as required

Method

Blend rava, curd, grated coconut & 1 cup water make fine batter. Add 1/2 cup water and rest the batter for 30minutes. After 30minutes add 1/2 TSP baking soda and salt as required and pour the batter on the tawa, apply some oil close lid and cook the dosa for 3 min on medium heat, flip over and cook other side.

Cabbage Muringa Leaves Thoran

Ingredients:

1 small size cabbage finely chopped

7-8 stems Muringa Leaves

2 TSP coconut oil

1 tbsp mustard seeds

1 tbsp urad dal/uyunnu

Pinch termeric powder

5-6 green chillies

Few curry leaves

1/2 cup grated coconut

Salt as per taste.

1-1/2 cup watermelon rind

2 tbsp ghee

2 tsp besan flour

1 tbsp sooji rava

Sugar(according to your taste)

1/2 tsp cardamom powder

Crushed pistas

Adding milk also enhances the flavour. But I want to make it simple and this way without adding milk tastes good.

Uttappam is little thicker when compared to dosa. Uttappam is topped with different types of veggies of your choice. This recipe is quite colourful so kids will love it. This is a great recipe which can be packed for lunch box for your kids

To make Uttappam more tastier and yummier I have added grated cheese into it.

Grated carrots

Grated onions

Coriander leaves

Grated cheese

Tomato sauce

Oil or ghee

You can serve hot this Uttappam with idli podi or any chutney. If you want to pack it as a tiffin box for your kids let it warm for a while and then pack it. It’s healthier and kids will surely love this.
